Important Note: Discontinuation of Formaldehyde Gas Process Indicator
Due to considerable supply difficulties, there may currently be temporary product changes to the Steriking® sterilization packaging. It is possible that the clear sterilization packaging will only have two indicators for steam and ethylene oxide sterilization. The indicator for formaldehyde gas may be omitted. The changeover will be marked on the carton label by the omission of the -3P suffix (e.g. the previous product designation S4-3P will then be S4).
All previous Steriking® clear packaging with three indicators is affected.
Sterilization packaging for steam and gas sterilization. Medical specialty paper. 9-layer plastic film for maximum tear resistance. Control indicators for steam, EO and FO gas sterilization printed. When sealed, the green film turns darker. Seal temperatures of 165 - 200 °C are recommended depending on pressure and time.
